Vodafone did an IPv6 roll out

Access Router Settings

Open a web browser and enter your router's IP address (usually found on a sticker on the router or in the router's documentation)(often 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1)

You may also need to log in with your router's username and password.

Normally
Username admin
Password admin

Switch to Expert Mode (if needed):,
Some Vodafone routers require you to switch to "Expert Mode" to access all settings. Look for a setting or button to switch modes at the top right of the page.

Locate Local Network Settings:,
Once in Expert Mode, navigate to the "Settings" or "Advanced Settings" section, and then find the "Local Network" or similar option.

2) Disable IPv6

Within the Local Network settings, you should find an option to enable or disable IPv6. Disable it.

3) Save Changes:

Make sure to save your changes after disabling IPv6. The router may require a reboot for the changes to take effect.

192.168.1.254 or 192.168.1.1. You'll then be prompted to enter the admin password, which is usually found on a sticker on the back of your router or in the EE app.

I did initially disable IPv6 on my router but noticed some applications running slow.
VPN is a better option for me with IPv6 enabled.

  2. 2. Log In:
Enter the username and password for your router. If you haven't changed them, refer to your router's documentation or your ISP for the default credentials.

  3. 3. Navigate to Network Settings:
Look for a section labeled "Network," "Internet," or "WAN" settings. The exact location may vary depending on your router model.

  4. 4. Disable IPv6:
Find the IPv6 settings. This might be a checkbox to disable IPv6 or a dropdown menu where you can select "IPv4 only".

  5. 5. Save Changes:
Click the "Save" or "Apply" bu
