vu plus duo . one cable from dish.

just been told that this box will allow live pause , rewind . watch whilst recording other channels with only one cable from dish ? is this correct ?

duo is an old slow box ,if one feed to box you can record only but can view recordings from hdd or from another box as it does not need second tuner hook up,yes you have control over fast forward/reverse/pause of recordings.
best to have 2 feeds then record 6 programs at one then look at recordings on hdd lol

think i posted wrong box then , VUplus , lad is saying it has " full band capture " one coax 4x channels . no need for two cables from dish with this box ?

yes must have lol,one coax sounds like a cable box or box has a twin tuner plugin and could have another twin tuner?

i have vu+duo
but i dont think they have full band capture tuners.
I know the generation of vu+ range have them.
on vu+duo you have the choice of setting tuner same tuner 1, but the feed needs to be in.
