I have iCam working fine for myself. I went to set it up for the father in law but having set it up using oscam-latest with oscam.server and oscam.conf all correct and adding the channel list, I couldn't get it to work. So having set everything up as expected I came home and plugged his box in at my house, using the non-motorised cablee from my satellite, it didn't immediately work, though I didn't try lots of things.
Anyway, I thought I would bring his box up to date first so patched it from OpenVix 6.4010 to v6.8.006. That is all I did and hey presto, it works perfectly.
So, before I head back to his, I just wanted to check, is there any particular reason iCam would work fine on my home network but not his? Just so I can make any setting changes required at his end? Or should I expect it to workand assume the issue was the openVix version he was on?
