vu+ solo2 coming soon

Ive ordered my solo2 with 500gig hd and vix preloaded (seems the easiest to start with)
its on back order from wos
so when it arrives any pointers to make install pain free?
do everything from a pc or load files from usb?
epg? and boquets?
plugins?
yes i know im jumping the gun but i havent been this excited about a bit of tech since my first 5.1 amp many many years ago (now on 9.1)

you install plugins from the plugin feeds boquets if your using vix just use vix bouquet maker in the menu
