Warranty on F3/F5

Thinking of getting a sb f3 or f5. mix reviews everytime.

was on ebay and realised that sqtrade offer 3 yr warranty for £8.49 on several skybox listings.

What to do guys think, should I go for the warranty just in case the box becomes faulty? If i claim will it not be risky that I have a skybox dodgy box.

as far as i know as soon as you put a c-line or other service onto the box the warranty is invalid

I have to agree with Mike, as soon as the original firmware is altered, the Warranty is void.
