Thanks, but if I connect the cable box directly to the mains connector (without the splitter), then it's working perfect. The issue is that then I cannot use my internet, so I need it connected via the splitter.

I've got no issues with the internet (fortunately)!
 
Update on my situation:

I changed all the coax cables around and it’s working perfect. VM had provided me with the original ones apart from the coax from the splitter to the box.

So now I’m using my own coax from splitter to the router, and the official VM one from splitter to the box.

Give that a go.
