What counts as advertising a server?

To avoid a ban.....what classes as advertising an Iptv server? Can we exchange details via PM or is even this not allowed?

Thanks. Is there any way to find out specifically why I got a ban recently as I honestly don't understand what I did wrong.....so that I don't do it again??

You'll probably get a better response in the feedback and suggestions part of the forum.

As far as I can see you didn't do anything to deserve the ban though, I've exchanged details of my CS and IPTV provider by PM before - that's the commonly accepted method of recommendation as far as I'm aware. Hope you get an answer.

I had a look back through our history but can find no details for anything ?
You would normally only get a weeks ban for posting server details/email address in open forum posts.
In your case, you may have replied to a request saying"pm me" or similar which is not allowed and may be construed as advertising/selling.
You normally would have been sent details for the reason when you were banned as we have to complete that box when issuing it.

Thanks for looking into it. I didn't get any details but never mind. At least I know what is and isn't allowed. I must have done something by mistake I will ensure I don't post anything that's not allowed.

If you say "I 've a server it costs x contact me" it is obvious advertising.
If you say "PM me" I take it as you are saying I Have a server, contact me.
If you are in the anyone recommend a server thread, the only posts allowed are requests, all answers should be by PM.
If you are in a thread and say something along the lines of "my customers never have any freezing" again it is a way of saying I have a server.
