What does image backup actually backup?

Hello guys,

I've just bought a zgemma h.2s and installed slyk Hd 5 skin and I am really happy with it. I spend a few hours setting up the skin e.g the epg,planner and bouquets.

I'm going to buy another zgemma box for the bedroom and my question is

If I use image backup to transfer the image over to the new box what will I have to setup again ? Will it just be the usb's for storage and plugins etc?

Great.thanks for help. Il have to try a backup tonight. Are my correct in saying I have to edit force on the USB before flashing another box?
 
You don't have to. If you leave it as noforce, you just have to press the front power button when USB appears on the display.
 
Just make sure that you delete the backup file of the usb after flashing the second box with the backup image if you want to use that usb for storing epg or recordings,Other wise if you switch the power on/off it will just reflash your box again
 
When I flashed my 1st box it just said boot then flsh itself.will it say USB on the display because it is no force?
 
Great.il try later.im learning more everyday now where as before I didn't even know what the box was lol

Anybody know anything about the autotimers ? I have read some forums but still no wiser

When I push blue & untick timespan & day of week then I ask for the title/description to be unique and then green.
It worked for eastenders last night and it came up with msg saying 4 found 4 timers added and I could see in the epg each esp that was going to record but for some reason now it won't do anything. It knows that there is a autotimer because it's in the list under autotimers but no msg coming up after i green it and no timers added in either epg or timers list.
Sorry for long question and going of course but I want to get this bit sorted for my wife

Remember when you do a full backup your line details will be included, which is fine if you're using the same line on the second box. But if you're intending on using a different line you need to remove the line files first and then do it and create a 'line free' backup. HTH.

O I didn't think it copied the cccam but that's handy. I'm using kiddac skin atm. Pretty impressive but wondering is there any other skins I can try out also
