What is a reasonable price for an iptv sub?

I AM INTERESTED TO KNOW WHAT PEOPLE THINK IS A FAIR PRICE FOR AN IPTV SUB. I took out a test from someone today , to be fair his test seemed ok, but he wanted £17 for 1 month, £40 for 3 months, £60 for 6 months and £100 for the year, i thought this was pretty expensive compared to other providers i have seen, i would like to know what other members consider to be the average going rate for a sub, thanks.

I don’t have it but my friend pays £30 per years sub for the full package which he is happy with, my other friend payed £20 and got bumped after 3 months...

you can buy a motorcycle helmet for 30£
mine cost me near £600
its about how much trust you put in it to perform well
the £30 one might perform perfectly fine, but I'm happy enough paying £600

a fair price is what you are willing to pay, basically

Fair enough, i get that, just thought some providers might be able to shed some light on whats too high and what price is about right, and i dont mean a motorcycle helmet, although i wouldnt buy a £30 one, i paid £200 15 years ago and it done the job, good safe sturdy helmet, heh heh.

I totally get your point, you would expect £60 to be top class, but not if you get it from the wrong source etc... let’s hope others can give you a ball park number which is the going rate... then you know where your estimations are.

I'd buy a month to start, then decide if its worth risking more cash for longer. Does seem higher prices than most though.

Average is about 60 per yr u will find 1 or 2 here r there some will give u unlimited channels but their servers brake down I have 2 servers 1 unlimited channels and another 1 of each but steadier viewnling

I pay £10 month, I can sign up for 3/6/12 months and get it cheaper, but I prefer not to take the risk. On the other hand, I was recently contacted by someone who charged £120 year and wont do monthly subs, just yearly only.....it's what you are happy with. I would rather it go tits up and lose £10 and not payout £120 and it last a week.

What you need to think about is what you would pay Mr Branson or Mr Murdoch a year for all channels, then £100 a year doesn't seem too bad

Very true, plus if you paid them monthly, you would be paying close to £100 p/m anyway. I just have the fear of paying £100 in one go and then the service goes off after a few weeks, where monthly you are protecting yourself slightly. That's the name of the game I suppose, you have to weigh up the risk.

I agree with dt99, shorter subs are definitely the way to go lately. And not just because your server could have problems, but because iptv has so many variables that can turn a near perfect experience into a poor one in am instant. It's a game of cat and mouse from many different angles.

To answer your question, I think £10-12 a month is reasonable as long as there is good support from the provider.

Yeah that was my original thoughts £10 to £12 per month, i pay £20 a month for a cable and sat line, the same line for both and it works great, it is a euro sat line also which i sometimes use on my dreambox if there is a football match on that i want to watch that is not on sky or bt, only thing is i have to then switch the zgemma off to avoid freezin, and vice versa, but i was looking at iptv for two of my sons and one of their father in laws and if i eventually find a decent one i would probaly take out a sub myself, mainly for the 3 oclock kick offs and the VOD.

My service is £45 a year
I think that's reasonable

I have tried a few test lines but all are different.
My provider is good been with them over 15months and they charge €90 a year. Includes 3000 channels and vod.

Bloody hell man !!!, Mine cost me £350 but hasn't got any bling :D:D:D:D

As for subs, I would say £80-100 is reasonable depending on the package, some are just Sky, some are Sky plus others, some are sky plus others plus VOD

I would stay away from cheap, you will get burned sooner or later, you generally get what you pay for.

£50.00 per year and £30.00 if you become a reseller with VOD.The price depends if you a buying from a main provider or a reseller.

don't take 12 month subs out, stick to month or 3 months max, end of the day no one knows what is going to happen even next week so yes it will cost u £8-10 a month but better to lose that than £50-60,
