What Is My Line ID?

Just playing around with Xtream Editor as I'm new to IPTV.
I asked my supplier as to what my Line ID is because I want to sign in to Xtream Editor.
He didn't seem to know what I was talking about.
Is there another way that I can find out?

the line id is a big long number
it is used for passing the info across from the site to your box

but if you are not set up or doing it your self from the website you wont have that
you need to send your agent the number under the qr code

so you are signed up and all and you want you line id to sign in to xe?

if you go in to plugins xe, its the big long number and letter that says line id next to it

Does anybody know why the code keeps changing on my sisters box ( xtream editor code) I have exactly same box & setup as her and mine has been fine. Hers is changing regularly thus disabling the epg.
Any ideas would be lovely

Maybe she needs to turn off DHCP.
I presume it's a dreambox that she has.

just checked mine and dhcp is on, I'm not entirely sure what this would or wouldn't do, any further shouts much appreciated.
Anyone know where I'd find an up to date plugin file for xtream? Might just try re loading it, mine is 2.03 I think

Just google Xtream latest plugins.
You might have to join a forum.
DHCP could be for instance 192.168.1.2
It will stay the same if DHCP is set to off.
If you leave it on it can keep changing.
ie.. the last digit will keep changing.
It's always advisable to have it set to off.

I got on to my server about my Line ID and he said he hasn't a clue what I'm talking about. If he's providing a service he should give it to me. He obviously doesn't want to give it out for some reason.

So has you're provider given you the Xtream editor plugin?

It sounds to me that he hasn't and your asking him about a program he doesn't use?

I actually had to download that off the net.
I downloaded Xtream TV from his website alright.
He just emailed me with what he says is my Line ID.
It's 5 digits.
I thought it should be 32 characters.

That's what I'm trying to do.
I have the bar code number, but I can't seem to get my Line ID number.
Maybe I missed a step.
I can sign in to Xtream Editor and put in the bar code.
But for the Line ID it's just a drop down box.

Your provider wont give you that info as that is for his panel with all his details in.

If he provided you with the plugin you should give him your mac address so he can link it on his panel.

If your setting up xtream editor you need to setup the m3u link and arrange the bouquets eptc then when you get to the screen your on you add the Line youve setup and link the app code (mac address) then you can run the xtream plugin
