Wi-Fi Disconnecting

I connect to the internet over Wi-Fi using a Wi-Fi adapter and recently I noticed that internet connection frequently disconnects. When I reconnect the adapter, the connection works fine for a short time and the issue occurs again..Any idea about this complication?

have you done a scan to see if any other wifi's near you are on the same channel causing the issues.

No, I haven't check it yet..I will check it..does anybody if the heat of the adaptor cause the connection stability..because the adaptor gets hot unusually when keep connecting for short time

Who's your provider ? Virgin by any chance ..?
