WilloBuild WilloBuild OpenViX 6.9 Series

It depends on what image you're running at the moment, but there should be a mount manager where you can setup and change mountpoints.

Vix image for some boxes have been stopped at version 6.7, are you continuing supporting these with willobuild. My box is edision os mega

No, there has to be a current ViX image for the receiver.
I have to build my own image for my Gigablue UE 4K now because it's no longer supported.

Better, because you are familiar with the building of images. Me being a layman it will be difficult to start from the scratch.

If you have a spare partition to install Linux or a spare PC it's not too difficult to do.

There are instructions at the bottom of this page:

GitHub - OpenViX/enigma2

There is a good help forum if you google 'build my own vix image'.

.... or you can just change to one of the other images like OpenATV.

Let me go through the GitHub, it's better to learn how to build otherwise we will keep on buying boxes for the sake of new images.

Due to some changes in the OpenViX image, please run the Willobuild Updater plugin before updating by software update.
This does not affect flashing by image manager and restoring a backup or a clean flash.

If you have updated software and experience a bootloop, connect to the box with putty and run this command:

Bash:
wget --no-check-certificate -O slyk.sh http://www.willobuild.net/files/scripts/slyk.sh && bash slyk.sh

Will try it when the drink wears off!

Is there an issue with the server right now? I flashed to latest OpenVix 6.8 and restored settings and I could see OpenVix Willobuild message on reboot but there are no options to run update option as Willobuild update plugin. I flashed and try installing Willobuild from scratch but I am getting error:

www.willobuild.net/files/scripts/install_vix.shConnecting to www.willobuild.net|93.127.192.247|:80... connected.HTTP request sent, awaiting response... Read error (Connection reset by peer) in headers

Any help would be appreciated

That's one of the broken plugins. I'll try and get it sorted asap.
Oh ok! But if I already flashed and restoring from backup getting this error what’s the best way forward for me? I am getting some sort of connection error even I try to use wget command instead of restoring from backup

I don't know why you're having problems connecting with putty. It's working fine for me, for flashing and updates.

I've updated the plugins and build. You can either remove the affected plugins using the plugin browser and reinstall, or try flashing again from scratch 🤞

I haven't updated my zgemma h9.2h since flashing vix and willobuild about 2 years ago. Can this be done through the box and do I need to update or best to leave it as is. Thanks

Make a settings backup:
MENU > SETUP > VIX > BACKUP MANAGER > GREEN BUTTON

Exit backup manager and go into IMAGE MANAGER and download the latest image with the yellow button.
Flash the downloaded image to a different partition and restore the settings backup when prompted.

If everything is working as you like, you could just leave it though.
