Windows 7 vs. Mac OS X 10.6: Amazon Pre-Orders
It has been revealed that Apple are currently winning the pre-order battle between their Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard software and Microsoft’s Windows 7 platform, in terms of most pre-orders with online retailer Amazon.
According to MacObserver, two of Apple’s pre-order packs, Mac OS X 10.6 and Mac OS X 10.6 Family Pack currently occupy the number one and two slot in the BestSellers list for Software category.
Meanwhile, Microsoft’s Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade package is way down in 16th position at the moment. Key reasons for this could be the price between the two, as Apple are only charging customers $29 for an upgrade, while Windows 7 is a ‘full version’ upgrade and will be priced at $119.
Apple are winning the battle at the moment, surely Windows 7 won’t stay towards the bottom for too long. Let us know what you are planning to pre-order.
