Wooshbuild 7 issue - Unable to connect to VU+ ZERO from laptop

I've just flashed it so now need to ftp some files, but am unable to connect/ping from laptop. Never had an issue before when using Hades build using exactly same method Checked all IPs as being correct etc. Please has anybody got any ideas as feel kind of screwed at this point :(

menu -> setup -> system -> network -> ftp setup and make sure it's running
Thanks, I did look and found that and it is Running. Thing is I then unplug the eth cable and bring the receiver to another room where my laptop is, the connect another eth cable from laptop to it. Is that the issue?... Previously this method worked when ftp'ing on Hades build.

Note that Autostart reads Disabled, but unable to change that with yellow button as nothing happens when I press it.

hi all new ere put wooshbuild v7 on my zgemma star 2s everything is great just iptv player works for a bit then freezes everything up any help please thank you.

I checked on my vu+ and autostart is not showing as enabled either so that must be an atv issue as I don't use wooshbuild.

Why are you moving the box into another room and connecting it to your laptop? you should leave the box where it is and then just connect via ftp.

@dave lawton start your own thread or use the wooshbuild support thread rather than hijacking someone elses thread with an unrelated issue

I thought that was best way to ftp files? Can you recommend to me a better, quicker, easier way and which software to use?
Cheers.

Please ignore my last post.... I've sussed it, can't believe I could just connect over my home network without having to physically connect the receiver to my laptop.
Big DOH! Thanks all the same grog68 for listening :)
