Would I see any benefit in using a mag 254

Currently using my zgemma h2s with an iptv sub. Got rob set up running fine. Just wondered if anyone has run both before and seen any benefit in buying a mag. I've been advised to buy a mag and will do so if there is a benefit in it. Advice appreciated guys.
