how do i install the hardrive on the new xbox,4gb i got a 20gb old 1 took it out of the casing pushed it into the slot and nothing happened ,thort it be easy lol any 1 no how or put it in simple terms as im not the brightest spark ,thanks in advance:peace:
I installed my 120 gig hard drive into the slim using the same method as the video above or you can get a slim enclosure for your old hard drive to fit perfectly.
If its not working or being detected its not in properly.
Just keep trying :)
You could, at your own risk of course, try putting it in while the xbox is switched on so you know its connected when the dashboard restarts, just dont force it into place.
