I had an internet outage for 24 hrs, and since then my box sits displaying home page and no key presses on the remote alter anything.
I’ve put new batteries in the remote. I’ve rebooted the power. I’ve rebooted the power while holding the home and select keys, which is supposed to bring up the developers menu for a factory reset. I’ve gone into Google Home and tried to connect to it, but it can’t find it.
Has anybody any suggestions for what to do next please?

I’ve had my SIL look at it with me. We’ve discovered the mi box responds to my zgemma h7c remote. Weird!!!!
 
Go into settings using the zegema remote and in the remote section you might find both remotes listed so then you can remove the zegema one.
Hopefully you will be able to get it to forget the zegema remote and you will be okay.
