Thanks I've done all that then it just fails at the last min saying no disc space, very frustrating!Put the update on usb stick,go to upgrade by usb it should say upgrade mode image file . Below that it should say upgrade file v8 v6 150519 below that keep dbs and setting weather below that start. Press start. Once flash has finished your box will reboot. Then goto menu/ epg and time setting. Switch satellite to internet (xmltv) go down to xmltv settings. Switch auto update to on and then press red button. Epg should now work. Enjoy!!

Hi fellas, right ive done the update and its worked!! I must admit my heart was racing doing it just incase it went wrong
All good though, the only problem i seemed to have was when i ran the update on the EPG the "write back to disk" part took over 25mins??
I never used to take that long, now it that what it should do or is it my usb stick? Also i have a small external formatted to FAT32, can i use that insead of the the USB stick as it will prob be faster and i can recored more onto it.
I understand i have to leave the USB in now all the time but can i swap it over to the external hard drive now or am i stuck with the USB?
Thanks in advance.
Ricky
Ive just tried to install this fix on my V5s, however after ive gone through the 'upgrade by USB' screen, left it on .abs, chose correct file and clicked start, i get a message stating that upgrade data too large. Any idea how to get around this? I formatted the USB to FAT32 if that could have made a difference.
I noticed the same thing last night on a V6. It was showing the 1903 date & showing ?????? where the time & date should be on the programme info.
I tried deleting the 21.fci & 21.fpg files & installing the EPG again, but with the same result, even after rebooting the box a few times.
Turned the box on this morning, & EPG back to normal! :dunno:
