XLMTV fix for V6/V8

Thanks for this, one question I have a lot of channels that show no information is this the norm?

Hi all, a complete newbie here. I formatted the USB, downloaded the file and when I went to upload via image file I got a "file mismatch" error. Obviously I am doing something wrong here at a basic level! Any advice on how to proceed?

Using V6s so maybe that is an issue in some way?

The V6s is made by Yojia and is not an official Skybox toy so classified as a clone. The firmware is released for V6/V8 and because there is an official Skybox V8s the f/w works in that box as well. This may be the cause of your mismatch so I would wait for a V6s release by the manufacturer.

Great stuff thanks. I never used this since I had my box only a few months and when I came across it the service has been down so been having to use the program guide app on my phone. This is so much easier now and to set up record things ;) just need to get a bigger storage hard drive now instead of the flash drive I have. Thanks again. :)

Ok, thanks a lot. I did not realise I had a clone box. Its working fine so far except for the EPG issue but reading other threads here it will be interesting to see how long that lasts!

I have also noticed that not all the channels have the epg working for example: ITV HD sky 1 Dave ja vu etc.. is this something i am doing wrong or is this the norm for everyone ? if so will the be an update for this fix?

Try updating your channel list---Cwaite's list best for V series.
Or do a single sat scan and locate the channels you want and edit them into your favourites.
Some fixes you have to do yourself I'm afraid.lol

anyone know how to get them back please ?

Nope as long as you tell it to remember your settings... says it will delete them but it don't...

Hi, was wondering how to tell it to remember settings? Is that the Keep DBS and Setting...... to be at YES. Am i right in thinking then that ALL settings will stay the same? Line info, images etc

Nearly all movie channels and half the kids channels are missing epg

i lest usb conected and epg working fine in the morning ,now when i got back no epg is working at all and usb stick still connected

What channel list are you using?
Some people have reported problems with AJSat list on the V8s so have moved onto CWaites list.
My epg is running ok but yes a few channel listings come and go but all in all its working ok on my boxes and customers.

all channels have no epg .went to settings and changed it to satellite so i do get ,whats now and than but not any more ,
