Youtube premium options on smart TVs?

Hi All - just curious whether there are any new tips and tricks for watching YouTube ad-free on a smart TV, similar to the options available on mobile. Not sure if you can name names here, but mobile has an amazing option that works flawlessly.

I'm using a Homatics R 4K Plus box (I also own a Shield) for other apps, and the last time I checked, there weren't many options when it came to Youtube.

Thanks for the reply, I need to try this as well. Actually, I have a probably stupid question. I'm not at home currently, so I can't check myself, but maybe you can help.

On my Android box, I'm currently running NordVPN, which is needed for TiviMate. It's not set to a specific location at the moment, but it helps because of the ISP.

Can I set up NordVPN to connect via Albania, but only for YouTube? Is this where the split tunneling would come in handy?

If it has that location then yes no problem. Sometimes it works but other time's the advert s still play via Albania. Try Mongolia that works too.

If you're just looking at a Android TV box. Just go sideload Tizentube. VPN route is always an option but it sounds like in your case you're just kinda throwing in extra steps. :o

Thanks! I think this is exactly what I was looking for. Now that you mention it, I remember reading about it a while ago, but I totally forgot.

It sounds pretty similar to what vanced now revanced is on mobile.

Yeah, OP. I would always lean to cut out the points of failure when it comes to fiddling with stuff.
