Zgemma - gift glitch

Hi guys. Hope you can help. Bought a zgemma box with a years gift already added. Everything works fine apart from the fact that channels are freezing from 1 to 4 seconds every 10 mins or so. Freeview channels never do which rules out sat connection. Does anyone know what this could be? Friend who got same one from same provider doesn't have any issues

How is internet connected to Box? Speed of internet? You can always get a test line to rule out your provider

freezing on the pay channels is always one of two things -
1. your broadband is playing up
2. your line is playing up.

Is there a possibility of swapping boxes with your mate for a day or two?

did you buy off flea bay,if so could be running different servers even if bought off the same person,

I use an Ethernet cable via a tp link. Do you think it could be the tp link?

I have a zgemma box and I get the odd day where it might pause for a second or 2 every now and then, but its not done it now for a few weeks touch wood so it could be your providers server is having a wobbly fit.
