Cable Zgemma H1 Connecting to Amazon Firestick

Hi All

I'm having a problem connecting my Zgemma H1 (in lounge) to my Amazon Firestick (upstairs bedroom). Ive followed the online guides and have enabled the VU PVR client on the Firestick and configured it. I'm using The Beast interface on the firestick and have added a favourites bouquet. I'm able to see my channels in the Live TV guide but when I load any of them the signal is terrible (glitching and pixelated) and totally unwatchable. Does anyone if I'm doing anything wrong or if there is a setting ive missed to improve the connection?

I've exactly the same problem with my Zgemma star 2s and Firestick. Channels and epg download fine but channels are unwatchable but it works fine when streaming to kodi on my pc.

Try putting the zgemma into standby - I had the same isssue streaming to a Rasperry Pi and that sorts it for me - you can put it into standby by using the openwebif through your phone / tablet etc...

I use this method for my raspberry pi How to stream sky over your local network to kodi | All About Nothing the only issue is that it doesn't show epg data

Try putting the zgemma into standby - I had the same isssue streaming to a Rasperry Pi and that sorts it for me - you can put it into standby by using the openwebif through your phone / tablet etc...

Still stuttering badly on SD but HD channels work, weird.

Tried the PVR IPTV simple client and get the same problem as the enigma2 client, HD channels work ok, SD stuttering a lot.

Ive just loaded Perfect Player android app by niklabs onto my firestick and it works great with SD and HD channels but no epg as yet.

At first all was fine then the entertain bouquet stopped showing epg but the rest does. Never got to the bottom of it. Usually when I stream it I know what I want to watch so not that bothered. Think I had to install mx player on my android box to get it to work also..
