hi trying to flash with latest image, when I switch the box on with USB integral 2gb it states USB for about 2 seconds goes to boot!
is this a USB problem?

Which latest image? Have you tried pressing the power button on the front once you turn it on at the back. I'm sure I had to do that when I tried out ATV.

It's the new vix 3.2.021.
I have tried pressing the power button as well.

Use hdd guru on your laptop or pc do a full low level format then do a windows fat32 format. Add the Zgemma folder to the usb then put in the back of the box and switch back on.

Should work after that.

Tried that still the same, tried a scandisk blade USB also getting same results.
How long does it normal take to flash?
Has it flashed ok, when I turn the box on it goes to a OPENATV 5.1 in grey in the screen.

I use the SanDisk blade. Are you using the front or back usb?. It takes about 10-15 mins to flash . It should say FLSH on the display when it's doing it.

Defo Sounds like a formatting issue. Have you tried an older vix to see if that works?

Also make sure The folder is Unzipped ? and the Zgemma folder is on usb normally takes about 5 mins to flash

Hi I am using the USB at the back, I will try a older version.

Ok got it to flash! It was because I was using Winrar to extract files . Downloaded Winzip and all is ok so far.
