Satellite Zgemma H1 - OpenATV - Tuner A (Satellite) Problem

Hi, I have a Zgemma H1 that has OpenATV 4.2 installed. I have had the box for several months and everything has been working well. We have both the cable tuner & the satellite tuner working to receive all channels.


The latest update of OpenATV has caused a problem with the satellite tuner (the cable tuner is working fine). I keep getting the following message;


"Timeout for Tuner Lock"


This happens when we try to run AutoBoquetsMaker or crossEPG. Also we can only view the FTA satellite channels, previously we could view all channels. If we disable Tuner A (satellite) then AutoBoquetsMaker & crossEPG work fine.


If we re-flash to an old image then the Satellite Tuner works okay and we have no problems, but if we do an update it causes the same problem again. We have also tried OpenATV 5.1, but this has the same problem.


Your advice would be appreciated.

There has been a problem with Atv update causing problems You will need to FTP to your box and remove a couple files will try and find link to it

We also have a Zgemma 2S. This uses the same image file and has the same updates, but the box has no problems?

Have now sorted the problem on my Zgemma H1 by doing the following;

Menu...Setup... Service Searching... tuner Configuration... Tuner A... Send DISCqC... Yes

Strange that the problem didn't occur on my Zgemma 2S!
