This has to be the most infuriating piece of sh~t I have ever tried to get working. First off the link for the basebuild would not work, just got sent to a page that said it was shut!! Once that was eventually sorted tried the download thing in "Easy setup" easy my arse. wouldn't be so bad if things worked. Not flashing invaild zip magic! 3 brand new sandisk sticks in both front and rear usb ports and still won't work.

So just because you can't do what thousands before you have already succeeded in doing you're trying to blame everything from the box to the build itself.

Perhaps a better way would've been to Come here today say what problems you were having and I'm quite sure you'd have gotten help.

The bad magic has been posted many times and should be sorted if not have a look around and change the dns on the box. If you don't think the build isn't upto scratch then setup your self http://www.techkings.org/zgemma-star-2s/84949-bare-bones-openatv-new-setup-guide.html then you'll see how much work goes into creating a backup
