Zgemma H2s not connecting to internet

Delete DNS Nameserver 2 or set to 0.0.0.0
Turn on DHCP
Press OK.
Exit out fully
Turn off box FULLY
Turn off router
Turn on box, wait until fully booted
Turn router back on.
Wait until router fully boots and gets IP addy.

I reckon all will be good then, (famous last words :) ).
 
OK, that's disappointing.
Are you 100% it is not connected ie. is the "Link" indicator red?
I'd like to see the latest screenshot as you should not have both DNS's the same.
What is maddening is that I know, if I was there I would get it in a min or two.......frustrating, or wha ? :-)
 
Why is gateway and DHCP off again?
Did they turn off on their own, do you know?
Will not connect with gateway off.

It is if you know the IP is "free", however this IP addy was assigned by ASHHBI in a previous post.
So to rule out a clash of IP's, on the network,it is preferable to allow the router to assign an IP, so that we know it is available.

I always leave DHCP on if I don't know the network and when all is working OK, if I need a static IP will then turn it off.

if he has rebooted his router, as asked to do, then the stb will have that ip reserved
 
Its a while since I did it, but doesn't WB basebuild allow you install enough to set up your network and then complete the installation over the net?



45 mins later.......

..........and there's some tumbleweed blowing past...........

Wonder why........;)

Update, have connected to the internet with a wireless USB
I was just about to pull my hair out, after trying openatv,wooshbuid numerous times
then finding openvix tried them all to no avail.

So last night I thought I woud give it one last go, back on openvix as that was
the build it came with, and if it did not work was going to send it back.

I typed all the details on a manual setup, but it still would not connect.
I tried twice then for some reason it then conneted, I then made a note of
the settings, I then flashed wooshbuild again, and after two other goes it
connected and I was able to fully install the build, This morning I thought
it may have disconnected again but no,still running
