Hi all,
I have this box. After several firmware upgrades, the HDMI port doesn't work any longer. And I have some error codes.
For now I have video and audio output threw the RCA.
How do I solve this problem, so I can use the HDMI port again.
Thanks in advance.
 
Did the hdmi stop working after doing updates? or just stopped working one day when turning box on?

What do you have installed on your box?

Have you tried checking the video settings?

I am always usig OpenPli, which is a fine image. And still using now.
The HDMI stopped working after a update and tried different images to solve it.
Now I am back on OpenPli usin the RCA video and audio output which is working fine, but I want the HDMI port back working again.
The televison is not changed.
I tried almost everything.
 
First thing is to try a different HDMI lead and check connections as no firmware will stop that working.Try flashing it with openatv and see if it works but i doubt that is the issue.
 
on VIX you can disable HDMI output
dunno if thats an option on any other image though, mighgt be worth checking.
 
Then box HDMI output is knackered no doubt but one last thing is to try the box on another tv as the HDMI on the current ones could be the problem

OK, if it has been disabled and won't allow you to enable it, that is because the box can't see anything connected to it.
Either a knackered hdmi on your box, TV, or bad cable.
Seems like it's your box by what you have tried,
I do hope you haven't been hot swapping cables.
 
No not hot swapping the cables, I am always careful with that. Well I tried almost everything.
For a receiver in the bedroom, is the video output threw RCA enough.

I like to thank everyone for their solutions.
