Hi
I am currently using a Zgemma H5 and looking to upgrade?
Is it worth just upgrading Zgemma or is there a better option out there?
Thanks

It depends what you watch...i watch mostly free channels so I have a zgemma H7 and have 140 freeview channels via an aerial but it also handles iptv very well.
I do have Android devices for iptv but most of the time I just CBA to swap over hdmi sources and for the odd rugby/darts/ footy match i just watch on the H7.

It may require a newer image, what image are you using?
Older ones may not have the codecs required for the VOD

Just updated to open atv 8.0
That's a beta image, I'd try an older one like 7.4 or 7.5 first, also make sure you've enabled vod in bouquet maker xtream, jedi won't work on newer images.
If you have the m3u, you might be better off using xtreamity, miles better for vod and live streams

Ok buddy will try it thanks
Just try xtreamity from plugins menu before reflashing, I find it works better for vod. You can search for stuff much easier than in jedi, plus it has all the imdb graphics and synopsis for each movie/series etc

Can i add my url user and password to it or do i have to use putty?
If you have bmx or jedi running, your m3u will already be in a file called playlists.txt in etc/enigma2/jediplaylists folder.

Once xtreamity is installed, you can type in the playlist location, etc/enigma2/jediplaylists and it will read it and use that, I've done it loads of times on account of me being a lazy 2@

Sorry for being thick you mean as in your freeview is mixed in with your IPTV (i.e in the entertainment section you have BBC1, ITV etc that use freesat but in the movies section it has the movie channels running from IPTV because thats EXACTLY what I want to do and I didn't even know it was possible! lol)

No i dont have it set like that, i have freeview channels in bouquets, entertainment, news, kids channels etc, and i use xstreamlty for iptv.
I think what you are referring to requires 'swapping channels' and it is possible i think, if you use bouquets maker xtream but its not something I've ever looked into

It is possible quite easily but you really would need to upgrade to a newer box. The old H5 models will not play hvec streams which most providers now use.

I have exactly that on my H7s. I have a favourites bouquet which has a mix of IPTV, Freeview and Freesat channels.
