I can get this myself no probs, but how is this going to populate the EPG and what settings etc am i setting up.
No make sense for EPG
 
You can generate the EPG on a i55 using EPG import but your provider needs to have it setup properly and have their own sources for anything non UK. Had a look at the rytec IPTV source and its not got much that's worth using in it really.

Hi there, how would I go about copying the script from another i55 box to mine so I can get the epg? Thanks for any help!
 
Well EPG is depending on channels references ,they should be the same as Reytec channels references if you use it as your EPG sources .
All E2 support EPG ,just need epgimport and channels references should be the same for IPTV and source of EPG.
 
Hi.. did you manage to resolve the issue of not getting epg listings on the i55, I’ve run out of options and the guy providing my sub is seemingly clueless??
 
Wow, absolutely astonished by the faffing around you're having to do.

You need a provider who can give you a script or preferably a plugin to populate the channel list and a source for EPG Importer. End users of a service shouldn't need to "get their hands dirty" like this!

Unfortunately I’ve paid my subscription money now for 12 months, so hopefully he will make sense of the link I’ve sent him. I’ve just watched the you tube guide, hopefully I’ll get somewhere with that.
 
Thing that gets me is that so many resellers are totally useless... They have no idea of what they're doing, and to be honest, you're lucky if you get a reseller who knows how to use the panel nowadays! They just think to themselves that they can earn money quickly, with little understanding of what they're doing... Makes the whole provider and other resellers look bad...
 
In the guys defence he has been really helpful since this issue reared it’s head, I’m led to believe it’s his own server, I wouldn’t know if it was or wasn’t.
 
Does anybody know if the EPG issue with the Zgemma i55 has been resolved. I updated mine by following the iPab TV instructions and managed to populate all my IPTV channels with EPG but the next day they had all gone off. I have reflashed time and time again and still cannot get the EPG back :(
 
ok what should happen if your provider is signed upto suls. they should have their own source just make sure it is ticked. then run the import.
