my zgemma just turned itself off as i was watching the rugby now when pushing power button on back only get a red light on led display .. ??? any ideas chaps ..

Have you got a HDD plugged in? Unplug it and try again.

just got a usb in back as hdd to record onto , techking set it up last night ,m was working fine then just turned itself off , did not touch the box , now when turning on just red light on front , searched forum not much , about this , has it died ??

Seems like you may have plugged your USB in, yet not set it up as the HDD for the device. When the EPG/Recording/Timeshfit fills up the device, it can softbrick the device, leaving it unbootable. Best bet is to try reflashing if this is the case.

i did set it up as hdd had only recorded one film had 80& free it worked fine played the film and when it went i was watching rugby , .thing is even if i reflash put line back on what's to stop it bricking again as i've no idea what caused it ..
