Never mind, its stopped working again. I deleted TSpanel, deleted all cams, started again with only mgcamd and the mg_cfg and newcamd.list files and STILL not clearing. works on cccam. what on earth is going on?
 
hmm, and as if by magic, it's kicked back in! All i did was kick the line off the server and it came to life with no cccam installed.

It's an n line. all working. I just have no idea what ive done but I do know that TS panel just confuses things in Vix images
 
Your best bet is just use softcam manager for lines trouble is people who were using Atv images used to start them using TS panel as they couldn't find Softcams so people get confused Best bet just use softcam manager

aaaand its gone off again. I literally have no idea what its doing but I rebooted the box after firing some new picons over and its not clearing again! Im giving up and going back to glitchy old cccam
 
If you have lines in both place you will cause conflict use 1 or the other and delete other 1

as in, delete the cccam.cfg as well as the actual cam???

ahaaa! you are a star my friend! Yes, deleted the softcam AND the cccam.cfg and BOOM its working again!!
 
Just take line out I Always use Mg Camd and Remove CCcam via plugins that way your not Switching over everytime You have to start cams again after a restart with Gui and Kodi updates
 
Hi all,
This started as a problem adding the Irish HD sports channels to my box, then it ended up with my line acting up, so Ive transferred the saga here!
In order to add the Setanta HD channels to the whitelist, as per another thread I put the modified dvbscanner.py file in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/scanners/ and put the sat_282_sky_uk.xml file in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/providers/

I then then went into autobouquet maker, clicked on providers, and all there was, was Freesat Uk and Sky ROI, so I recopied over the xml file as it was corrupted (file size zero bytes), reset the box, did the autobouquet setup, EPG download etc, and there they were! The Setanta HD channels in my EPG. Till I went to watch one.
None of my scrambled channels were clearing, so went into tspanel and seen that my ccam was red, so restarted it and reset the box, and still, not a single scrambled channel is clearing.
When I go into tspanel, softcams, MGcamd 1.38 is green, but it says "No ecm info" down below.
But, when I go into TSpanel, Files explorer, Usr, Keys, when I open the newcamd.list file (this is how I actually originally entered my line details), everything looks exactly as it should be.
Anyone got any ideas?
When I go into setup/softcam, softcam manager, CCam 2.3 is listed, as is mgcamd1.38 below it, which is green and ticked.
Ive seen some people say uninstall ccam, but, my setup is based on the most recent sucmnsee image, and that has ccam in it (thats how I have it), and my setup was working perfectly till I addded the above 2 files, so the line has been okay till now, so any suggestions or ideas to try would be much appreciated.
 
After I restart do i need to reset the box, out re run auto bouquets etc, out should it just clear the scrambled channels? Will try tomorrow after work.
 
Try menu,setup, softcam/Ci, then softcam manager, press down then green to start or yellow restart then blue auto start"

Tried that, nothing. When I go into the MGCamd info screen it sometimes says "no emc info" and other times it lists my line details confirming everything is running as expected.
I also tried installing MGCamd 1.35a ( I'm more desperate!) But, when I go into the softcam manager it only lists the old and original 1.38.
Very confused.......
 
You might be best of reflashing and stick with 1 cam it's probably to do with all cams you have just try with mgcamd 1.38
 
If you reflash box, especially if you use different firmware, do you need to reset box to factory settings, or just reflash box with new firmware uploaded to usb?

I'm using OpenATV. When I press Green to download plugins, Softcam or emu doesn't come up.
How do I install this?
 
If its mtpockets back up it'll probably already installed not sure how to get to it in vix it's menu setup softcam c/ ci
 
This is where problems start with different images if people let you know what image you are using then we might be able to point you the right direction good thing is if using back up both Mt pockets and Sucmnsees images Softcams can be found via Blue button
