Whoever he played with, he was a shadow of the player he'd been. By his own team mate Carragher's admission, "he hadn't had a great 18 months." 18 months is more than just not gelling with team mates, he was woeful. He carried that form into his Chelsea career too where he played with players like Terry, Lampard and Drogba.

I always think Carroll got off lightly with criticism for his Liverpool career because they'd signed him and Suarez with the Torres money.

Don't you mean donkey carrol lol some players perform for some clubs better than others but if the saviour returned to toon he would be at his best again

Carroll was only really good at Newcastle. But he is another who has generally been a flop.
