Grogbuild ATV 6.1 cable only build for H5.2tc, H7C and H4

If you haven't flashed his latest build try his suggestion here to updates AutoBouquetsMaker http://www.techkings.org/threads/autobouquetsmaker-and-epgimport-not-working-solution.134049/

But try update config files first
 
on cable there aren't 609 channels so how you are getting that many? You should get about 400.

You keep confusing autobouquet and autobuequetsmaker and that is what has lead to the confusion in this thread to start with.

Really you need to start a new thread, giving details of your set up as it sounds to me like a general setup issue.

ive not used the H4 befo but am quite savvy with sat and cable boxes .
Ile sort them with remote now ime nearly there.
But next time i scan will upload a screen shot of channels scanned for non beleivers ,

By the way ime 60 and its easyier to flash boxes then text ,@ grog

If you're getting over 600 channels, you must be scanning something other than cable, you must be scanning for satellite as well, you mentioned 28.2 earlier in the thread, this is sky

Everything will come out in the wash :(y):

Never new could scan sky channels on a cable only input .

Sorry my mistake, I misread post #231 when you mentioned 28E, thi is why i thought you'd scanned satellite lol

still don't know where the 600+ channels are coming from, normally approx 400
 
Really puzzled on this step "Now select Providers order, make sure cable_uk_virgin is the top item" how do i do this?

In ABM you should have a Providers order section go into that and check cable_uk_virgin is on top if not highlight it and press yellow to move up then green to save, once done re scan ABM. This only applies if you have more than cable active ie Sky UK if you only have cable then you can ignore that option.

Anyone now how to set zgemma h4 running grog build to show full channels section I'e entertainment movies sport ect when you press epg
 
by default you don't have a 'all channels' bouquet but if that's what you want then press the menu button and select Setup -> Service Searching -> AutobouquetsMaker -> providers and scroll down to Virgin(UK): generate main bouquet and set it to yes (all channels) and then press green button to save. Now press the Green button to run a scan. Once completed press the exit to get back to tv picture and press the epg button. You should now see an All channels bouquet.
 
Followed the Grogbuild H7C ATV 6.1 cable 2017-11-03 instructions to the letter, but when I get to the scan following the bouquet maker I keep getting a message telling me that C tuner isn’t configured when I reopen tuner configuration all information area id etc is correct where am I going wrong!!!!
 
wow big text, someone trying to get my attention lol.

Try pressing menu button and then select Setup -> Service Searching -> Autobouquetsmaker -> Update config files and then once they've updated try running a scan again.

And have you entered your right area net ID into ABM too before start scan?

Hi,
firstly let me apologise for the large script. I've tried what you suggested and checked what bangord30 suggested unfortunately the config files updated without any difference to my problem and the area id is OK too, so I'm at a lost to what the problem is but obviously it has to be something simple as everyone with the H7C are raving about the build so I'd like to try and sort it before I put my line on the box!!!

Change Tuner to Tuner C and type of scan to Complete and then press the Green button to scan

Does it find channels?

I've tried the manual tune which didn't discover any channels at all, but I think that that suggestion led me to re-look at the box itself. I was orignally going to get the H5.tc which I unerstand has the cable split inside the box so I assumed that this box was virtually the same with a few extras but it would seem that I have to get a splitter and extra cable as this box has two rf in for cable so i'll have to do this myself.

Does this mean that I will have to reflash and go through the whole setup process again?
 
No you won't have to flash again.

You can disable tuner C for now so abm doesn't throw up any errors and then when you get your splitter and connect tuner C you can then enable it again and that should be it.
