Wooshbuild Support Thread

im trying to clear iredeto and biss with the installed oscam,,,,i cant get it to work,,,,they are clearing with mgcamd......i want to get it working with oscam
 
Hi, got a new H5.2TC and running 2.5" external sata drive via USB enclosure and wooshbuild v7.
Getting crashes about 3 times a day - see logs attached.
Always the same scenario - zapping channel when in EPG it crashes, but not always.
2 series link scheduled which were not actively recording when box crashes.
I did notice that pts_livebuffer_1 and timeshift.* files are constantly writing to disk @/media/hdd/timeshift.
I had assumed timeshift only kicks if the pause button is pressed, I haven't changed any of the timeshift settings from default and "Enable Autorecord" in timeshift is set to no.

Logs attached - any ideas how to resolve crashing?

Each log is referring to timeshift. This makes me think your USB device, in this case HDD, is acting up.

Turn the timeshift off and see what happens then.
Menu -> Setup -> Recording and timeshift -> Timeshift settings -> Automatically start timeshift after - change this to disabled.

With timeshift set to 2 seconds or more it is always active. Timeshift kicks in 2 seconds after you change channel so you can then rewind live TV. Without timeshift active, the pause button would then create a timeshift file.

All files are set to be deleted on channel change as standard in WooshBuild.

Hi Wooshman,

I have been using Wooshbuild for a while now and the cccam stopped working the other day.

I have spoken to the provider and all is fine. He said the line is not showing as connected.

I have a CWS line.

By the way should it be cccam or mgamd, in the softcam settings.

If it was working but stopped and the provider says it is fine their end then it is most certainly your end. Sometimes (not very often with mgcam) you need to start the cam and then restart the box

I am just uploading Suls e2M3U2bouquet latest version (0.7.3) - this can be found in the extensions section of plugins.

REMOVE your existing version first as it is no longer in the wooshbuild section.

Remove current version
Install the new version from the extensions section of plugins.

We have nothing to do with the plugin and do not use it so if you have any problems with it please search the forum or make a new post. Sul also has a huge site which answers most questions. DO NOT ask questions about it in here please.

Hi I am having a problem reinstalling wooshbuild 7 I tried the reflash option in the menu but it failed so I downloaded a fresh file but when run it goes through all sections until after selecting region it goes to download the files but it stops with Error HTTP 403 forbidden and goes no further. I have at the moment had to install ipab to get running have tried other build open pli etc they load and run no problem it seems as though its a network problem but as I have said the problem only happens with wooshbuild any advice would be helpfull?

hi wooshman i have tried to reboot my h2h with v7 and it gets to the flash gordon screen and ssys invalid zip screen i hqve downloaded the file again and same thing
 
But of a strange one- just reflashed via usb my h2h and all went through no issues. Then went it reboots after flashing, the box counts up to 80 odd and I see the wooshbuild theme on the screen and then the hdmi cuts out. Anyone seen this before?

Yes, but does it continue to load properly after that and restore the screen.

If so, mine does that as well.

My vu solo 2 crashed and i have tried re flashing whooshbuild it goes through easy setup but when it gets to the down load section it says failed
 
Hi turned off web safe and downloaded fine did a restore settings but not there so will have to start again bit concerned about leaving web safe off any suggestions
