is this for EPG?

so when you go :
menu > setup > system > EPG > cross epg > update rytec providers,

it gives the ever message ' Cannot retrieve Rytec sources?

have you got the cable plugged in the right plug & done a autobouquets scan on virmin?

yes i know quite a lot with these boxes all was fine until i installed slyk image,last time it happened rytec was down and a new xmltv cofigue py file was needed

if you uninstall the skin does it then work.

I'm having the same issue, get an error message pop up saying 'cannot retrieve rytec sources'. Does anyone have a fix for this please?

Yes don't use rytec lol I use crossepg with opentv as the source for sat and epgrefresh for cable have a look here for epgrefresh settings http://www.techkings.org/zgemma-star-h-2h/90996-epg-refresh-settings.html

i also use crossepg and open tv on sat and now confirm on other box i retried it does not work,removed/installed the plugin and cannot update sources by the same messages.thinking something is changing now?

...and just for the record, skins don't break epg data. They've just all got their knickers in a twist with british summer time. All will be good Today, Tomorrow or soon ;)
