couldnt get it to work. put xpeedlx folder on usb that had been formatted to fat 32. then followed the instructions you provided.

1st INITIALISE YOUR USB AFTER FLASH (make sure xpeedlx folder is not on usb)
Insert usb in back
Turn on
Menu
Setup
System
Storage devices
Initialisation (select ur usb/hdd)
Initialise with red button

this is everything i did. worked till here. it came on with message that initialisation don1 100%. thats when i tried to dod the next steps put couldnt. what shall i do?

Make sure its enable at startup and active or see setup thread.


(Just change region to your local and add ur line ;-)
auto bouqets setup
cross epg setup to hdd
service scanning set to hd with no auto update with the hd changes that are happening its easiest
256mb swapfile setup
no skin because its better without ;-)
Includes softcam, fullbackup, mediaportal, ondemand, tsmedia, tspanel, vlcplayer

but when i went on menu, setup, VIX not there, so I didnt know how to move on. box exactly the same with openpli image with nothing on.

a little confused because i thought u said put xpeedlx folder in the box and then do your steps (that is what I done), but on your instructions it says (make sure xpeedlx folder is not on usb). when i seen this i took the whole folder off and tried rebooting, didnt make a difference.

To flash put xpeddlx folder on usb. Insert in box and turn on. After flash make sure xpeedlx folder is not on usb and inserted before powering back on box. Otherwise it will just flash again.
When u turn ur box on and are waiting for it to boot up what image do you see? It should be a waterfall and a beam of light in a picturesque cave. If not then the flash did not work and you need to try with a different usb stick. It is known that some sticks do not work.

Turn off
Remove usb
Take xpeedlx off usb
Put in usb
Turn on box
Then follow instructions to initialise

i only have 256mb memory stick...so what am I doing? just putting epg burden on there, u mentioned something about a swapfile?

Backup of Helios 17 01.06.2014 ( if possible have 2 usb sticks do this. The one staying in the box permanently, try and initialise it in the box before starting. Minimum 512mb. Much easier.)

I dont know how to get to this part in the menu???

and another thing when i press the menu or epg i dont get all the image on my tv. e.g when i press epg the whole menu i cant see...how do i change these settings.

final thing...wanted to know how to add cline and also how to change resoluton of image so it fits my tv.

i also keep getting an annoying error message whilst i am watching tv. it says SoftcamCheck Error and got long error message.
 
After setup turn off box and tv and when turned back on screen usually resets.
Otherwise look for "full" setting on tv

The error is cause its looking for your cam
Have u a htp program on ur pc?

On a pc/laptop connected to the same router as ur box..
Download an ftp program like dreambox control centre or filezilla. I use DCC.
Install on pc
Start DCC
Click search under pic of box
Click search on left
Double click ur box when found
Hit reconnect button under pic of pc
Hit FTP bottom left
Double click etc folder on left
Use right panel to find your CCcam.cfg file
Click once on it to highlight
Hit ← button on screen to transfer file
That should be it entered
 
yeah...thx for the help..followed your instructions but didnt work at first. come up with error message. fiddled around with and i dont know how put managed to transfer cccam.cg file to box, but premium channels came on. few questions regarding box.

1) i have 3 lines i wanted to put in. can i put these all into one text document and transfer it using dcc or do I have to it seperately.
2) some of the HDchannels arent work works like ss3 and ss4 HD. ss1 and ss2 HD are.
3) TS media has pretty much nothing on it....no movies worked when i tried yesterday, put one on and it went off after 10 secs with an error message, and IPTV all dead streams.

i still feel box needs more doing to it before i can be satisfied??
 
Hi guys,

I just installed TS MEdia to my box and I updated it to the latest vesrion.
Now when I start the plug in starts for a second and then it shuts down and then no button works on the remote. It just shows the croosed box in the middle of the screen. I then have to restart the box.

ANy idea what can be the solution? ANy other plug in that works on this box?

Uninstall tsmedia and reinstall might help.

Also plugin Kodidirect is in plugin downloads. It has some movies series etc
 
WHat is the latest version that has been proven as working on IBOX II Plus? ANy other smilar that I can install that has movies series etc?
