EPG Decompress Failed! Please Check Disk Free Volume

Worked so I havevthe epg back. Although it's an hour out. Any ideas?

the epg is out by an hour on the V5s ect only the V8s are working spot on atm for the others we need to wait for the dreaded summertime bug to be fixed nothing we can do matey i'm afraid

Mine has always done that as well and it does my nut in. Pulling the power to restart it a few times usually sorts it for me (but not always) and I make sure I don't unplug it again unless absolutely necessary because I think thats what f***s it.
I was thinking of reflashing the firmware to see if it helped.
 
I'm trying to get the EPG to work with XMLTV...
Done the firmware update, however, the software version date remains 10_04_2014. Could someone tell me if this is the latest version and if it isn't, please post a link to were i can download it.

The latest firmware is on skybox.cc (and it's been posted in a few other threads).

After updating, the software date will be 19_05_2015.
 
Thanks for the replies regarding the EPG issue but i decided to change boxes from F3s to a Zgemma Star H1 no more EPG problems plus i've got my HD channels once again

if you go to www . skybox . cc , downloads ( top right hand corner ) , click on your box from the section on the left hand side , then download the file that fixed bug : xlmtv download , install that to your skybox and that should give you a fully working EPG. worked for me anyway(y)

So do I. I am on the Openbox v5s with firmware dated 30/07/2015 and always get the error.

I have a 2TB external disk attached which is working fine for everything else, so it isn't the disk.
 
Same problem again.

I know the last one was down to the firmware so has the same problem arose again and is there a new firmware for an Openbox V5s?

Would like help if anyone knows.

Looks like the "Decompress failed..." problem is back on my F5S! I have the latest firmware installed (S_F3S_F5S_15073006AC_youporn.abs). The last successful update was on 29/11/16.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Any suggestions on how to fix this.

Something else that I have never had anyone mention but auto update doesn't work and has never worked for me.
