Fatal tuner fail/ openvix flashing problem

We have progress! Managed to flash the box online through the image, it deleted ipab and now have open atv. Not sure why the usb’s didn’t want to know. Just done auto scan and its now picking up channels!!! so strange... stills flashs a ipab picture at start! Who knows! Least im getting something
 
Inside the atv/vix folder you are trying to flash you should see a file called no force rename it so it says force and give it a try then.

When I do a open atv scan it just says failed tuner check to see if it is installed correctly or if your box can take the frequency?! But then I do a autoscan and its pickin it all up! Fuk knows
 
So what exactly is state of play now? Have you downloaded autobouquets maker from plugins/system plugins and successfully scanned or is it still messing around. Now your box has online flashed you may be able to flash the vix image you originally wanted from usb if still having tuner issues. To give yourself best chance possible format using bootice or hp format tool then download extract your vix image and have a look in the folder it contains if the folder does not contain a file called force or no force, create a plain text file and name it force and copy it into the solo 2 folder then copy the folder to usb. The force file removes the need for any input from you to make it flash. Just rules out the possibility of having an issue with the solo2 not recognising the front button press to make it flash. Failing that one of these will solve your issue

Yes tried it all now, spoke to someone else they had samw problem with a H2H, they said there tuner had gone so had to get a new box! might be a failure with the tuner? Goin to send it back and get them to hve a look at it! seems weird it will flash a new copy of ipab and not openvix?
 
cant see how a tuner going will affect box from flashing?
are you 100% sure box is not a clone and you only inserted usb in while powered off.
check stickers under box and google images for your model as they are different.
 
Really not sure, why would it flash with ipab and not openvix? the tuner issue is just separate. Wont do both now! It was brought brand new from world of sat last year! So shuldnt be a clone!
