How do i remove this file formatted usb 32

Needs to be initialised (formatted to ext4 or ext3) which can be done on receiver by going to Menu/setup/system/storage devices/initialisation press ok pick your usb stick and it will format it for you. Bear in mind Anything on usb stick will be erased during formatting, once complete check device is mounted correctly

funnily enough I got that on my edision the other day, i use different drive for recording than timeshift.
I simply took usb out and formatted it to ext3 , [ it had been ext4 , but must have got corrupt somehow ]

tried formating usb stick error just keep shown , just reflash box hope that works , any guys thanks for your reply ,

how are you formatting.?
what are you formatting to.? if you format to fat32 you need to initialise the stick on the box
