I had exactly the same problem after upgrading to FF 14.0.1 a few days ago. Turns out it was no script causing it, so try disabling that if you use it.

glad you got it sorted maybe t hats why you couldnt open as its change to outlook.
Make sure now you got malware that you run that and you anti virus regualary. You will be surprised what malware brings up - especially when you scan whole pc!
