Morning All,

I have 2 questions.

1. Firstly can anyone let me know what the lastest update is for TSMEDIA (to stream latest movies) is please and the steps needed to update?

2. Secondly is it striaght forward enough to record and play back things recorded via an external device ie USB or ext HD

9.1 for tsmedia. Just open tsmedia and tools and software update.

Usb should always be left in box set with swapfile and epg. V easy to set records.

Before i update do i need to change the update mode to basic, Full etc?
 
Morning Sucmnsee,

The way you suggested for me to update my TSMEDIA didnt work. I had to do the following:

1. Go to Tspanel
2. Click on Addons
3. Selet an update
4. Press Menu
5. Select option 6

Then when download update is complete press the blue botton on the remote to restart enigma.

Morning All,

Last night i wanted to amend the time that my EPG automatically updates so did the following;

  1. Menu
  2. Setup
  3. System
  4. EPG
  5. Crossepg
  6. Configure

The following message came up......

What does this mean and am I doing something that could potentially perminently damage my box?

Is it because i havent got a usb inserted into my box?

Yes. As we keep saying a permanent usb should be initialised, mounted, swapfile set up and epg set to save to.

Can anyone send the following please;

  1. The steps needed to perform a swapfile set up.
  2. The steps needed to enable EPG to save to usb. (if saving to usb is automatic no need)

And is it as simple as buying a USB and inserting it at the rear of my box?
I believe most usb's are already initialised to fat32.

Is 32gb too big?
I have some films on it also. Do these need to be removed before i use it?

Sorry for all the questions but want to make sure that i've covered everything.

If using tsmedia go in and set dl folder to /hdd/movies

Evening guys,
Can anyone tell me when recording something say on bbc1 can I watch something else on another channel at the same time?

no you would need a twin tuner box. with two feeds from dish plugged in. these boxs only one
