so i think the kids computer has a rouge antivirus.scanfreeantivxp keeps coming up saying the computer is infected.searched it and nothing came up.anyone run across this one?

Never heard of that particular one aldan,but there are that many, and so many new ones appearing all the time. MalwareBytes I am sure you know will sort it out hopefuly. I would also suggest downloading the Hiren disc, booting up to Mini XP and running the antivirus programs it has on there, especially SuperAntispyware and Remove Fake Antivirus 1.76. Then I would delete all your Temp files, maybe run CCleaner which is on Hiren disc also (or you can download it)
