anyone point me in right direction to save or add another transponder that works for sky sports news on the skybox f5 please

Do a blind scan--locate the channels that you are missing and move to favourites.

menu--single sat scan--blind scan---when complete go to channel list and edit.
All this is contained within the forum plus much much more--do a little reading and you will find lots to play with on your box.
