the kiddy & co sv team

Kiddy to be fair not everyone is able to get c line ie a dish put on to there property as its a further financial outlay unless you have the sky dish already on your property fair enough i enquired about having a sky dish fitted as i have a hd combo and trust me it aint cheap so that negates the sat side of the box for me as im not willing to shell out that kind of money !!
 
Desperate is wanting a fix right away, think we've waited long enough. I didn't buy the box with the intention to mess about with a dish when we were getting 12 months of virmin. Would have been nice to atleast have got a few months use out of the virmin side before having to mess about with a dish, by the way guys I'm not having a rant, lol. Just would be nice to get some use out of this box soon.

I think its time to wake up and sniff the starbucks people it looks as if the kiddy is only interested in shifting one box

He must not have any duos or sv hd's left so I doubt he's going to waste any dough sorting you out

Sort a cline eh? I hope the buyers of the sv hd's show kiddy and co how desperate they are by not buying their next pile of old cack and get a dreambox

Starview was never 100% before it went nips up

So theres more chance of Shergar and Lord Lucan making an appearance than there is thekiddy sorting out the people with the 2 now unsupported boxes

All this patience bull crap is just that BULLCRAP

People should take it as a lesson and not buy their £100+ fta box and let them shove them where the mice cant get at them

Its always the same old well you took the chance when you bought it true but they took peoples money promising a service

You can't have it both ways

So sv and this kiddy fella should either prove me wrong or come clean so people with these boxes can move on and buy a better alternative

too much to ask now?
 
sorry guys but we all know what we was doing when we paid our money for our boxes, taking a chance !!!! 1000s got sold. so i think the money that was spent on boxes who ever it went too could have took the money an run ? an as for trying to sell off the rest of the stock, which i did talk about in another post ! who would really go out an buy another box if they are not 100 % working ? i sure would not. so as tommymca79 say Patience is a virtue;)
 
If you get a week or year out of any Closed source cable receiver that’s the gamble.
I’m amazed people moan after only having there box for a few weeks.

1) Take a gamble on SV or KV
2) Take a gamble on Sat CS
3) Do some work and invest in your own server and share between friends
4) Pay subs

I had a look at what was available on the SV7 so far (me mate Dave box), and noted that there is currently approximately 276 channels in the list with at least 90% of them working. Their is a lot, i mean a lot of freezing (every second) on on the sly movies channels, however all the other working channels are excellent. So great work The Kiddy &Co. If it is true that there will be a fix for the SV HD in the near future then i suppose it will be worth waiting for. At this rate that they are uploading the SV7, us with a SVHD will have to wait at least another 2 months before any sign of life on the SVHD, is that the case The Kiddy?
For all of you out there with a SVHD it will be worthy investing in a dish if you don't have one and use the sat side of the box. I spend £60 in an 80cms motorise dish and 10euro a months and get over 2800 channels with 4 satellites. If you properly track most satellite out there you should get at least 5000 channels including HD and 3D. Hence why i said the box is worth every penny if you use it for its full capability. I have tried a DM800HD wich cost in excess of £400 (Genuine) and it is so much hassle to set up and is not as satifying as the SVHD.
I understanded your frustration but this waiting game has allowed me to see what is really on offer out there.
I don't know who the kiddy is or what is his reason to getting the SV back on but if you have originally invested in a SVHD then it was a wise move as when the SV7 goes down again, the SVHD will continue to work with a cline, and don't forget that those with a SV7 can only access what vermin is offering in non HD, you my friends with a SVHD can access over 5000 channels including HD, 3D, all sports channels, Adults etc. The other truth about the SVHD is that is was not overpriced as any of its closest competitor cost no less than £149.
I hope i have managed to convience that the SVHD is a far better box than what you thought of originally and in so doing you will not be dependent on just on person to fix your problem. If the Kiddy or anyone else bring a fix for the cable side of the SVHD then good in the mean time discover the true power of your SVHD.

am not getting a sv7 or kv now that i know what i can get with a cline and an 80cms dish. look at it this way, the svhd box will be sold wether or not not a fix is found for it, whereas the sv7 is just a door stopper as it depend on one person to make it work, so once the stock of SV7 has been sold out, am sure it will stop working again. But if you have a svhd you can guarantee that with a cline and a dish you will still be enjoying good tv. As i said earlier those with a sv6/7 or kv cannot enjoy over 5000 channels including all the sports you can watch, movies, 3D, HD etc....
If you look at the price of the SVHD you will notice it has not gone down in price

if they going to be f/w for the digital duo just a yes or no will do as this is not a combo and we cant use sat side
on this . This box box simler to 6/7 so can the team tell us will these box if the going to be f/w for them

I've ordered a dreambox for me and my arl fella he's been waiting the same as everyone he was going to buy a starview 7 and has been pointing his mates the same way for the end of the season but I put an end to that by showing him this thread the silence from the kiddy is deafening.

Thats my good deed for the year done I've saved a few from buying the kiddys and co's shitty fta box as he likes to call it

FU with a big stick kiddy thats 400-500 quid you wont be deceiving off people

I’m sure “The Kiddy” is just an outlet (voice) for information and has no technical input regarding the rewriting of the code for these boxes and possibly the same for server/s set-up.

He’s probably only privy to info as and when needed and maybe there is nothing currently to pass on, I don’t think criticism should be aimed directly at him.

I’m still amazed people are buying or have bought these type of receivers with the understanding there going to be viewing TV illegally and they have the right to complain at downtime or loss of service for whatever reason.

I’m not judging one box over the other but for £99 it sure was pretty cheap, patched boxed were never that cheap and they had not extra costing such as , Subscriptions, Hardware, Bandwidth, R&D, etc ,etc

It’s been said many many times before, but pay your money and take your chance.

Yes it has been said many a time you take a chance blah blah blah zzzzzzzzz you have just worn the record out people know that.

Kiddy gets it (and doesn't mind giving it either very professional of him he posted a link to porn as a link on another site as well disguised as the new firmware) because as you said hes the mouthpiece yet go on to contradict yourself questioning why he gets stick, its not too hard to work out why.

And I hope people really do wake up to the cable game and leave in their droves kryptviews just as bad its time to put the cable game and the 2 boxes squeezing the last few shillings out of people to bed.

And Nah I'm not upset at all just hoping to spread the word that these boxes aren't worth it hopefully people will use their common sense and not be blinkered like your good self making excuses for them.

LOL, Just the uneducated and thoughtless reply I expected.

I do not use these boxes and prefer to spend a little time and thought to do otherwise, maybe you should do the same!

Read through the posts and read them again, pause and think before directing your fingers towards the keyboard. I make no excuses for any of the boxes, quite the opposite you will find.

Closed source boxes whether Cable or Sat have been great for the non-technical but are reliant on the manufacturer for support/service.

While they serve their purpose, there will always be disappointment with them eventually. As you will know to your cost.
