webif for pc

on another laptop here and entering box ip does not throw up webif:damn:,i see plenty of plugins for boxes but not for pc to use with e2 boxes,any pointers?

It should just come up in your browser, no add ins required.

Make sure laptop is on the same network & subnet

2 feet away and no browser sees it ,other pc beside me does.
i thought i had to download a pc program and cant see any thing lol

strange sees other boxes but not this one now?

open source web interface for linux set top boxes on this pc and wanted it on lappy finally came up why i have no ideas,yes want to mess with files to laptop from vu box cheers.

Oh as there is a bug with the ABM in feeds on openvix the Dec version, it made openwebif not load on local network.

I don't know much about those boxes, but is OpenWebIF activated on the box?

yes built into those boxes but i was using a laptop and would not see it ,working now and sending files somewhere lol
