what is the image on my vu solo2 box

Vu solo2 is my first linux box.
How do I find the current image on my box? I think this is the default image that came with my box.

Thanks. I thougt it had VIX but it says

Version: May 21 2013-vuplus_experimental_factorytest
Image: Experimental 2013-05-21

Is firmware update same as software update? The vuplus website has the software update VuPlus. Hope I am heading in the right direction.
