i moved my openbox upstairs last nie and have a dongle which finds my router but when i put the key in it says incorrect number of letters 5-13
my key is 10 digits long

If you mean the passkey then it must not incude hyphens, slashes etc
eg12345-abcde is not acceptable but 12345abcde is. You may need to change passkey.

You have too use a laptop or phone to log onto your router by going into the internet browser and enter 192.168.0.1 into the web page
Then find your security options normally by clicking onto wireless options
Change it too WPA2-PSK (AES)
Enter a Wireless key normally 8 CAPS LETTERS ie ABCDEFGH
Go back to open box and enter the new shorter key
Then find your security options normally by clicking onto wireless options
