XMLTV EPG auto updates!

Set my V8S to auto update the 7 day XMLTV EPG guide but it never does. Seems to defeat the object of having an auto update button! Or, am I doing it wrong?

Yes they or cheap boxes and not much does work properly on them, so your just pissing against the wind with them boxes comes to mine. Think about getting a enigma 2 box and you will see a big different where they update channel lists and epg every night so all you have to do is watch TV. life is to short for openbox and skybox.
