I think I worked out the issue I had the config location incorrect but hopefully fixed Update Surfshark.sh · davesayers2014/OpenVPN@14221a3

I'm not sure why it wouldn't config to all vpn config in one folder to yes though

Thats what I thought been a few months since I last had it on and as you said had to point it to correct folder, as for the change all in one folder to yes that is more a setting you will need to change because some people may not use the script.

Wasn't to far away in the end once I'd sorted the file path

How far have you got to adding VPN and what VPN provider are you trying?

also this is new to me how do i find the best conncetion and when i try and change server is crashes and stays on last one chosen

After running script do you have VPN manager in plugins? In VPN manager press menu and change all configs in one folder yes then exit you should see a list of countries

i have a list but not countries just numbers and it is stuck on 1 server which is south africa

No you should be able to change them via VPN manager plugin
