zgemma h2s just died need recommendations for next box

Between the gigablue and the zgemma h7s which one has a stronger satellite tuner for weak transponders. Does anyone know of another receiver with better satellite tuner than these two?
From experience of the H7s and a Octagon 8008 the Octagons tuner was better on weak sats than the Zgemma. Can not give you a side by side on a Gigablue though.

Maybe you have not considered the Octagon its worth a look.

You can't really compair the gigablue to the h7s because the gigablue has FBC tuners.
Thank for your response but maybe i have to be more specific. It can be more or just a tuner but which receiver's tuner is so strong that it will hold onto the signal while others will be breaking or wont show picture at all. That is what i meant by a stronger tuner.

wont that not be more down to lnb and satellite dish size.

I nearly added to my initial post that i did want a lecture on dish size and now you have roped in lnb. I understand those already. For your information though, i have a 5 meter dish and a molded mti highline twin lnb the best lnb in my test. i have a technomate 5402 hd m3 with a good tuner but i need a better one now. Guys continue to share your experience so that i can make a near accurate choice.

Sorry OP for posting with nothing useful to add, but damn you guys, I have a perfectly good Vu Duo 2 (although it's a bit slow and dated), now I'm looking at Octagan Sf8008, Gigablue 4K, Zgemmas and the rest, I should stop reading this site :)

I need to get the ladders out for 19.2 though! Just waiting to see if it's worth bothering.

It appears your astra 19.2 signal is weak and with such signal you will be in a better position to test both the octagon and gigablue to find out which holds the signal while the other breaks or has no picture at all. The other guys with those or more receivers but your signals are strong, where your dish is motorized you may drag the motor to a point where the signal starts to break then test the receivers to see which has a stronger tuner.

Just a heads up on the h7s got mine through the other day and I am impressed. One thing that was a little bugbear is it doesn't have a sd card slot which I find really annoying as always used a micro sd card for picons, epg, timeshift, swap file on h2s, h2h, h52tc so why they got rid for the h7 I don't know.

Just use a USB like everyone else
